Cheyenne preparing to go Greek
Cheyenne will be celebrating its Greek side this fall, and a full slate of activities has been planned to mark the occasion.
This will be the festival’s 32nd year, and will feature food, entertainment, and a chance to learn more about Greece and its culture. All ages are welcome, and there will be lots to see and do.
The foodies in the crowd may wish to head for the food vendors, who will be serving up everything from baklava to souvlakia, pastries, pastitsio, kalamari, salads and many other dishes. A taverna will be set up serving beer and appetizer plates, and both pop and coffee shops will also be on offer.
Greek dancers will be on hand to entertain the crowd, and there will also be dancing, a raffle booth, jewelry, and other displays along with pop-up shops. An assortment of local businesses have lent their support to the occasion, and the names of companies that sponsor an event like this can be added to the promotional products and other items used during the occasion.
The Cheyenne Greek festival will be back for its 32nd year on September 14th and 15th in Frontier Park Exhibit Hall. It is open to anyone who is interested, and more information about the festivities and how to be part of the fun can be obtained by visiting its website.
