Cheyenne prepares for annual kids egg hunt

Cheyenne families are invited to hop to it and register for a morning of Easter-themed outdoor frivolity.

The Annual Egg Hunt, held each year at the city’s Historic Governors' Mansion, is set to once again welcome children from ages 2 to 4, as well as their parents, for a morning of egg hunting. More than 1,000 eggs will be hidden by the event’s volunteers and staff, and each will be filled with a special treat.

This free activity will take place on the Mansion’s front lawns, and parents are encouraged to bring along their camera so they can take photos of all the fun. They are also reminded to make sure their child is dressed appropriately for the weather, and they will need to supply their own basket.

While many of the eggs hidden for kids to find during this sort of function are filled with candy, there are other options to choose from. A printer can supply a variety of inexpensive promotional products for this, as well as activity sheets and other items for the children to enjoy.

The Annual Egg Hunt will kick off at 9:00 am on April 3. Anyone who has questions or would like additional details has been asked to contact the planners at (307) 777-7878. They advise it may be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.
