What's Happening in Cheyenne, WY…

Cheyenne fundraiser to help build homes

Habitat for Humanity works to make sure everyone has a roof over their head, and a Cheyenne fundraising campaign will help to make sure it has the funds needed to meet its goals.

The group’s Cheyenne chapter has organized its Jump Into Jewels fundraising events, which will breathe new life into gently used purses, jewelry, and other accessories. Admission will be free, and the fun will get started with a happy hour cocktail mixer followed by brunch and a public shopping party.

Anyone who would like to support Habitat for Humanity is encouraged to do so by dropping off a donation of gently used or new purses, scarves, jewelry, and other items. These will be accepted at the organization's ReStore located at 715 East 15th Street, which is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Tuesdays to Saturdays.

Not-for-profit groups often perform a valuable public service, filling holes in a community's social safety net. A poster printing company can prepare marketing materials for a campaign that may be helpful in ensuring it will be a success.

The Jump Into Jewels fundraiser will take place on Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20. Additional details about the venue and timings will be released as its date approaches. Tickets are not yet on sale, so those interested should keep an eye on the Habitat for Humanity website.
