Meals on Wheels, which provides healthy food to those who live in the community and need some assistance, has planned a soiree to help fund its efforts.
The program has once again been chosen to be the recipient of the Thankful Thursday initiative in Cheyenne, but this will be the final year it can receive this designation so that other charities can pick up the torch. A special party has been planned in honor of the occasion, and the whole family is invited to be there and show support.
The event will see members of the public enjoy a live silent auction, as well as card games and other activities. Food will be on offer, and everyone can try their luck in the even-split and raffle draws.
During the event, attendees will be able to learn more about the initiative and those it serves, including local pets. A poster printing company can offer an assortment of decor options for a fundraiser, including oversized photos that show how the community's support will be put into action after the event is over.
The doors of Party with a Purpose, which will be held at 3839 East Lincolnway in Cheyenne, will open at 4:30 pm on Thursday, May 18. Everyone is encouraged to stop by and help make it a huge success.
