Cheyenne cornhole tournament supports animal rescue
Black Dog Animal Rescue counts on the generosity of Cheyenne and the surrounding communities to help fund its efforts, and a local brewery has partnered with the organization to host an active fundraiser.
Blue Raven Brewery will be the place to be for those who enjoy a good game of cornhole. Anyone who would like to get involved can choose to register as part of a team of two players, or they can stop by to cheer on the competitors and enjoy the other fun.
The day will open with team check-in during the early morning, after which the games will begin. Play will be divided into an upper and lower division, which will be determined by a round robin. Monetary prizes will be presented, and each registrant will receive a drink ticket as well as a T-shirt. A portion of each drink sale will be donated to the Rescue, and a raffle drawing is also on the agenda.
A fundraising competition can be a fun way for the public to support a cause. Trophies and other custom corporate gifts for a function can be prepared by a printing services company.
