Cheyenne class on offer for beginner beekeepers

A Cheyenne class will give those interested in the hobby of beekeeping the tools they need to get started.

A workshop that will introduce the care and culture of honeybees is on the agenda of the community, and the information provided can be used by the home hobbyist. It is being offered by the Cheyenne Botanical Gardens, and all are welcome.

The class will cover a variety of topics that may be of interest to newbies, and these include providing suitable housing, different methods for collecting honey, the equipment needed to properly care for these industrious insects, and also where and how to purchase bees in the state of Wyoming. There will be time set aside for questions, and everyone who participates will be able to meet others who are also just getting started.

Many people who are new to a particular hobby want to learn as much as they can, and attending a class or workshop gives them an opportunity to do so. A flyer printing company will be able to help get the word out to the public by supplying an assortment of inexpensive marketing materials.

This introduction to apiculture has been scheduled for the morning of Saturday, April 16. Anyone who would like to find out more about the activity can do so by calling 307-637-6458.
