Cheyenne class crafts Christmas spiders

Folktales from Eastern Europe tell the story of how spiders took pity on a poor family and covered their holiday tree with their webs to make it pretty, and a Cheyenne workshop will create handmade decor in honor of these traditional tales.

Cheyenne Botanic Gardens provides an assortment of learning sessions throughout the year, and it has set the date for its “The Merry Christmas Spider" class. It will be a hands-on activity, and everyone can take their project home at the end of the class.

As the spiders will be crafted by hand, they will all be unique, and while they work, the attendees will learn the story of the arachnids and how their webs were turned into gold or silver for the family. All material needed will be included in the registration fee, and the activity will run for two hours. The fee to register is $40 each.

Taking part in crafting class can be a fun experience, and it both teaches new techniques and also provides the chance to make new friends. A flyer printing company can provide a range of supplies, including marketing materials, handouts, and registration Forms.

Cheyenne Botanic Gardens will be giving spiders time in the spotlight with this special crafting class scheduled for Saturday, November 14. It will run from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm.
