What's Happening in Cheyenne, WY…

Cheyenne celebration to benefit entire community

Two community projects are slated to benefit from a special Cheyenne event, and the public is encouraged to purchase their tickets now for the celebration.

Leadership Cheyenne Class of 2019-2020 is in the process of organizing its “Boo Ball” fundraiser, and as the name suggests, it will have a Halloween theme. The monies raised will be used to install improvements and upgrades at Lions Park beach, and the Small Business Heart of Cheyenne initiative will also receive funding.

The Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce explained that due to size restrictions in place, tickets for this activity may sell out quickly. Several locally based companies have already signed up to sponsor the occasion, and the logo design of each of these has been added to the online marketing prepared for the function.

Those who purchase tickets to be a part of the festivities are welcome to wear a costume, but this is not required. The function will be held at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Event Center, and information for any local companies that would like to sponsor the celebration can be found on the Chamber’s website. Donations of items for the silent auction will also be welcome.

This opportunity to support the city’s small businesses and have a great time doing so has been scheduled to take place on October 24, with a scheduled start time of 6:00 pm.
