New Berlin Easter class teaches cookie decorations
A hands-on class is designed for beginners and those curious about the art of sugar cookie decoration.
The basic aspects surrounding the preparation of sugar cookies, working with royal icing piping techniques, and effective styling methods are taught to participants in this event hosted by Sweet Dreams. The class will also cover fundamental concepts related to dough and icing. With all supplies provided, attendees only need to bring their enthusiasm—and perhaps an apron—to fully enjoy the experience.
By the end of the session, participants will understand sugar cookie decorating very well, along with some advanced techniques. This class is for anyone who has struggled with Royal Icing in the past, is looking for a new creative hobby, or would like to have an activity with friends and some family. The craft session ends with all participants having six Easter-themed cookies that they decorated with diverse techniques.
All necessary materials, including icing, cookies, sprinkles, and a box to transport finished creations, will be provided. Each attendee will receive six cookies, at least four icing colors, sprinkles, and all the tools needed to complete their designs. With everything prepped in advance, there is no need for baking or mixing—just decorating. Print shops can help with preparations for themed events like these.
The Easter Cookie Decorating Class will take place at Cleveland Pub & Grill in New Berlin on April 6th, from 12:30 PM to 2:45 PM.
