The Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce is running an eight-session leadership program for early-career professionals starting this winter.
The Rising Stars Early Career Leadership Program includes eight in-person meetings designed to teach a variety of leadership skills like accountability, communication and shaping workplace culture. Sessions will also cover personal development skills like self-awareness and recognizing strengths and growth opportunities. Participants will have opportunities for in-depth conversations and to build meaningful connections with each other. The Chamber is working with BetterCulture, a consulting company that works with businesses on intentionally building their corporate culture.
The facilitator will be John Burke, PhD. Burke currently works with academics, athletes and musicians through Odyssey Coaching Group. He has previously worked with high school and college classes, giving him experience with students at different life stages. He is also a Certified StoryPathing Coach and has studied multiple humanities subjects.
Participants can register on the Chamber’s website. The fee is $655 for Chamber members and $855 for non-members. This includes the eight sessions and all materials and resources. Instructors often use printing services to create handouts for this type of educational program.
The Rising Stars Early Career Leadership Program will meet on Thursdays, February 19, March 5, March 19, April 2, April 16, April 30, May 14, and May 28 at the Chamber’s office.
