Brookfield Chamber to host global manufacturing event

The Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the WCTC (Waukesha County Technical College) Foundation to host a Manufacturing Export Forum this spring.

The event is intended for manufacturers, executives, and decision-makers who have expanded to a more global market or are considering that type of expansion. It will open with half an hour for registration and networking. Attendees often exchange Business Cards at this type of event. The program, which features a keynote address and a CEO panel discussion, will begin at 8:00 am.

The speakers will offer their advice and strategies for navigating regulatory and economic uncertainty while deciding whether and how to grow internationally. The keynote speaker, Roxanne Baumann of Baumann Global, will discuss practical ideas for exporters in rapidly changing economic conditions. Baumann will join TLX Technologies CEO and co-founder Neil Karolek and Hydro-Thermal Corporation CEO and president Jim Zaiser for the panel discussion. The CEOs will share the lessons they have learned from expanding their companies and how they would handle today’s conditions.

Those planning to attend can sign up on the Chamber’s website now. The cost is $35 per person. No refunds will be provided, but registered participants can transfer their tickets to a coworker should they be unable to attend.

The Manufacturing Export Forum will take place on Thursday, April 2 from 7:30 am to 9:30 am at WCTC’s Richard T Anderson Center.
