Brookfield’s Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts is kicking off its annual outdoor summer concert series this July.
Starry Nights features six outdoor concerts. Food trucks, a full bar and an area with toys and games for kids will also be available. Before the July 10 show, there will be a classic car show displaying 300 vehicles. The show is free for both attendees and vehicle owners. Participation will be first-come, first-served, and classic, antique and custom cars and motorcycles are all welcome.
The music lineup for the first five concerts is available online now, and the August 7 performer will be announced soon. Genres will include 50s and 60s hits, old school country and smooth jazz.
The concerts are free, but attendees are asked to consider making a $10 donation to cover the cost of future events. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. All seating will be on the lawn, so attendees can bring their own chairs. Concertgoers may not reserve spots before 4:30 pm. A limited number of picnic tables are available to reserve on the Wilson Center’s website for $35 each. Local organizations often use flyer printing services to promote their special events.
The Starry Nights concerts will be on Fridays, July 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31, and August 7 in the Gerlach/Haack Outdoor Theater in Brookfield.
