Guitarist Julian Lage is offering a three-day master class in Brookfield this summer.
The class is open to guitarists of all skill levels and backgrounds and is designed to help participants grow creatively and develop music as a practice. The week will include classes in both large and small groups, performances, lectures, and open time for practice or jam sessions. The curriculum is structured to ensure that all participants have access to Lage and the rest of the faculty for questions. Instructors often work with Print shops to create handouts for this type of event.
Participants can register online now for $1,999. Lunch and dinner will be provided on the three class days. A full package that includes the class, accommodation at the Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield Hotel, and local transportation is available for $2,999. Breakfast at the hotel is included, and a shuttle will run between the hotel and the class venue each morning and evening.
All participants are strongly encouraged to bring their own instruments to have the best experience. Acoustic guitars are preferred, but participants can use electric guitars as well. Amps will be provided, but the number may be limited.
Julian Lage’s Master Class will be from Thursday, August 20 to Saturday, August 22 at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts in Brookfield. The hotel package includes a room from August 19 to 23.
