Outdoor concert series returns to Brookfield

Brookfield’s Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts is bringing back its annual outdoor concert series this summer.

The Starry Nights concert series events are appropriate for all ages and will include a kids’ area with games and toys. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from a full bar and a selection of local food trucks, including Flour Girl & Flame, T-Best Popcorn and Romero’s. Attendees are also welcome to bring their own food and beverages.

The concerts are free to attend with a suggested donation of $10 per person. Picnic tables can be reserved on the Wilson Center’s website for $35. Otherwise, attendees should bring lawn chairs and can start reserving spots on the lawn at 4:30 pm. Tents are prohibited. Organizations often use poster printing services to promote their community events.

Classic car owners and enthusiasts are also invited to a Classic Vehicle Show before the July 11 concert. The show will begin at 4:00 pm and be open to the first 300 vehicle owners to check in. It is free for both entrants and attendees.

The Starry Nights concert series will take place on Fridays June 27, July 11, July 18, July 25, August 1 and August 8 starting at 6:30 pm in the Gerlach/Haack Outdoor Theater at the Wilson Center in Brookfield.
