Ladies night to raise money for Brookfield schools
An upcoming fundraiser for the Elmbrook Education Foundation (EEF) will help to raise money to support scholarships and learning tools for Brookfield students.
The Ladies Night event is the 18th of its type, with the gathering typically held every year. The social event, aimed at women, features a variety of opportunities to shop for or win prizes. This will include a silent auction and a raffle for items like jewelry and gift cards. There will also be a “mystery swag bag” available for purchase, and VIP packages for generous donors. Proceeds raised will go towards providing sensory tools in classrooms throughout the Elmbrook School District, which includes elementary, middle, and high schools in Brookfield and Elm Grove. These tools are designed to encourage focus in students with challenging behaviors and provide accessibility for neurodiverse children.
Ladies Night is one of the biggest annual fundraisers for the EEF, which began in 1958 to award scholarships to Brookfield High School graduates. It now also includes grants for teacher-led projects and other investments beneficial to students. In addition to Ladies Night, the EEF also runs an annual Boos & Ghouls Night Out around Halloween, an annual golf outing, and other fundraising gatherings. Charitable events like this, often promoted through flyer printing and similar tools, can be a major pillar of support for non-profit organizations.
The event is set to take place on December 2 at Western Racquet Club in Elm Grove.
