Brookfield to host fundraiser for high school robotics
The Elmbrook Education Foundation, which supports public schools in Brookfield, is hosting a Ladies Night fundraiser this November.
The event will include several ways to shop and participate. There will be a selection of vendors with products for sale, a silent auction, a cash purse raffle, gift bags and a gift card tree raffle. Sponsors of events like this often include promotional products in gift bags. The sponsor, Craig Husar Designs, is also hosting an after-party for attendees.
Those attending need to purchase tickets in advance. Tickets will go on sale on October 20. The event has space for around 350 people and has sold out in the past, so attendees are encouraged to purchase tickets early. Those interested in supporting Elmbrook schools without attending the event can make a donation or participate in the silent auction online.
Funds raised during the event will support a new Robotics and Automation center at Brookfield East High School that will be open to all high school students in the Elmbrook district. The Elmbrook Education Foundation has committed to raising at least $100,000 for the project. This money will help purchase furniture, technology, storage space and tools for the new program.
The 20th Annual Ladies Night fundraiser will take place on Wednesday, November 29 from 6:30pm to 9:30pm at The Improv in Brookfield.
