Brookfield to host conference for active seniors
Capri Communities is hosting a conference on active aging in Brookfield this June.
The Enjoy Life Active Aging Symposium will include speakers, breakout sessions, interactive group classes and a dance performance. A continental breakfast will be available from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. All sessions will be focused on ways older adults can continue to live life to its fullest as they age. Speakers will cover a wide range of topics, including aging while single, plant-based diets, and all-inclusive travel opportunities for seniors.
Attendees can start the day with a morning yoga session and participate in pickleball and self-defense classes in the afternoon. A performance of the Milwaukee Dancing Grannies is also scheduled for the afternoon. An exhibitor space with tables for companies offering products, services, and activities will be open throughout the conference. Companies often work with print shops to create materials for their tables at this type of event.
