The Elmbrook Education Foundation (EEF) is hosting its third annual Explore STEAM event this year.
The event is intended to inspire elementary and middle school students to get more involved in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) activities. Students can participate in experiments, challenges and demos. These are designed to be engaging and hands-on and will include a scavenger hunt and engineering exercises.
Tickets can be purchased online for $7 per student ages four to 13. Students need to attend with an adult. Adults can attend for free, but they should reserve tickets. Attendees can also order dinner from Chick-fil-A and dessert from Nothing Bundt Cakes while purchasing their tickets. Participants will also receive a gift bag.
Sponsorships are available for local businesses. Packages include booth displays during the event, recognition in event materials and mentions on social media. Sponsors will also have the option to include Promotional Products or other items in the gift Bags. EEF is running a silent auction. Online listings and bidding are available now. Auction items include gift cards, jewelry and Wisconsin State Fair tickets. EEF is a nonprofit that raises funds for scholarships and other programs to support students and staff in the Elmbrook district.
Explore STEAM will take place on Wednesday, April 9 from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm at Brookfield Central High School.
