The Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Celebrating Women in Business Luncheon this fall.
The event will include lunch and a panel discussion on the benefits of a personal board. Attendees will hear the speakers’ perspectives on how having a personal “board of directors” can support their career paths and how to build this type of group.
A personal board is a network of people who can provide objective feedback and advice based on each person’s individual expertise. The panel includes a mix of business owners, executives, and managers in industries like real estate and construction management. The moderator, Melanie Stuber, is the founder and CEO of Cultivate and Thrive, a consulting service that helps businesses strengthen their company cultures and make strategic plans.
The lunch options are a Tuscan chicken sandwich, a chicken Caesar salad, and a grilled vegetarian wrap. Those with dietary restrictions should email the organizers at bcc@brookfieldchamber.com. Tickets are available until September 26. The cost is $55 per member and $70 per non-member. Brookfield Chamber Investors can reserve a table of six for $330 or a table of eight for $440. Chamber members often exchange Business Cards at this type of event.
The Celebrating Women in Business Luncheon will take place on Thursday, October 3 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Milwaukee Marriott West.
