Brookfield arts center continues summer concert series
The free Starry Nights Concert Series started at the end of June and will end with two shows in August.
These events will take place in the Gerlach/Haack Outdoor Theater at the Wilson Center for the Arts in Brookfield. Food trucks will be onsite for attendees to purchase dinner, and the Wilson Center’s full bar will be open throughout the evening. Concertgoers are also welcome to bring their own food and drinks. A kids’ area with a selection of games and toys will be set up to keep younger attendees entertained.
The concerts are free and do not require pre-registration. A small number of picnic tables are available to reserve. Tables cost $25 and can be booked on the Wilson Center’s website. Otherwise, all seating will be on the lawn. Attendees can bring chairs, and they can begin reserving their spots at 4:30 pm. Arts organizations often use flyer printing services to promote their special events.
The performer for August 2 will be 5 Card Studs, an experienced band that plays covers from a range of eras, especially the 60s and 70s. On August 9, Reilly will perform a sampler of Irish festival tunes.
The last two Starry Nights concerts will take place on Friday, August 2 and Friday, August 9 at 6:30 pm at the Wilson Center’s outdoor theater.
