Annual fall festival to return to Brookfield

Brookfield is hosting its third annual Brooktoberfest celebration this fall.

Brooktoberfest is a local festival inspired by Oktoberfest. The event will feature a selection of local food vendor, live polka music performances and dachshund racing. Food vendors will include Nothing Bundt Cakes, Pete’s Pops, Shorty’s Grilled Cheese, Slo’ Motion BBQ and more. Attendees can participate in contests for beer stein holding, best outfits, cornhole and wood hammering. Towns often use flyer printing services to promote their community events.

A kid zone for children ages 5 to 13 will be open from 11 am to 3 pm. This will include a slide, obstacle course and other inflatables. Crafts and face painting for kids will also be available throughout the day. Classic car owners are invited to enter their vehicles in a car show, which will run from 11 am to 2 pm. There are 60 slots available, and the cost to enter is $25 per car. All proceeds will be donated to Make-A-Wish. Dog owners interested in entering the dachshund race can sign up in advance or on the day of the festival. A detailed schedule and the registration links for the car show, dachshund race and cornhole tournament are available on Discover Brookfield’s website.

Brooktoberfest will take place on Saturday, September 30 at Stefans Soccer in Brookfield, from 11 am to 6 pm.
