Pierce County Trails Day will soon be held for the fourth consecutive year by ForeverGreen Trails to celebrate the county, with active outdoor recreation and stewardship focused on trails.
Project and Communications Coordinator of ForeverGreen Trails, Larry Leveen, said that many organizations and agencies are collaborated across the county to hold events that include scavenger hunts, family-friendly guided walks, interpretive and wildlife viewing, and bicycle rides. Sponsoring organizations can also work together to create a Logo Design that promotes such an event and its benefits for the community.
The Tacoma History Museum will be holding a walk in the downtown focusing on musical history. Kim Davenport, a researcher of local history and musician, will be leading this one-mile educational tour. Attendees will go back in time and learn about music businesses, musicians, and historic music venues in the heart of downtown Tacoma. This will run from 4:00 to 5:30 pm, and begin at Frost Park at S. 9th and Pacific Avenue.
Downtown: On the Go! will be hosting six walking routes in Tacoma, each of which is under two miles long. These will be self-guided tours and include South Waterfront to Tacoma Dome Station, the museum district, Wright Park to the Stadium District, North Waterfront to Theater District, the historic brewery district, and downtown to Hilltop. These will run from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Both events will take place this Saturday, July 25.Get a Free Quote for Logo Design
