Foul Play on the Speedway will be presented next month at the Tacoma Little Theatre. This murder mystery was written by Paula Hilton and directed by Karen Christensen.
The play features King Petty and Grayen Pree, stock car sponsors, who honor their drivers during the inaugural Dirtball Derby Driver Distinction and Fan Appreciation dinner. Special prizes and awards are given to Lee Sherley, Melissa Fobia, Sly Riter, and Darlington Stripes, all of whom offer their unique off-track entertainment and antics. The show promises to be memorable and fun, and still provide an avenue for murder mystery.
Banner printing can be used throughout the community to promote this sort of special performance.
This will be a dinner theater with dinner including an appetizer; salad; a main entrée of chicken, meat, or vegetarian; and dessert with soda, team water, and coffee. There will be a bar for the purchase of alcoholic beverages. Tickets are $55 per person and include dinner, the show, and the gratuity.
The Tacoma Little Theatre was founded in 1918 and is currently undergoing renovation of its existing facilities with additional spaces to support production and education.
The show will be at Shakabrah on Sixth Avenue in Tacoma and run from Thursday, April 16 through Sunday, April 19. Performances on Thursday through Saturday will be at 7:30 pm, while the Sunday performance will be at 3:00 pm.
