Film buffs in Tacoma will now have a new place to go to enjoy their favorite movies.
A brand new theater with nine screens has opened its doors at 5057 Main Street in Tacoma, which will feature some of the latest ideas that have been developed to make watching a movie even more enjoyable.
The new cinemas will feature Luxury Lounger style recliners, and the sound and video will be provided through the Cinemark XD: Extreme Digital; Cinema auditorium system. The screen will be extra large and wall to wall, with the audio delivered by an enhanced sound system.
Those who wish to purchase snacks will be able to do so at the fully stocked concession counters, and there is also a cinema café where theater goers can buy coffee, pastries, and tea. Tickets are available in person or online and reserved seating is available. The first film that was shown was The Hunger Games: MockingJay Part 2. Other highly anticipated motion pictures that will be shown over the next few months include the latest Star Wars movie as well, as The Big Short and The Good Dinosaur.
