Two Tacoma businesses have teamed up to offer an event that will pair a healthy activity with locally produced craft beer and cider.
The beer and yoga session at Peaks and Pints will open with an hour-long session of yoga, which the organizers have planned so that it will be suitable for all levels and abilities. After the exercise, the group will head to the bar to enjoy a glass of their favorite cider, beer, or other drink.
While the participants go through the poses and then enjoy their refreshments afterwards, they will be invited to socialize and get to know other members of their community. The event is only open to those who are age 21 or older, and everyone who plans on participating is asked to bring along a water bottle and yoga mat. There is plenty of on street parking available. Flyer printing services to help promote an activity like this can be provided by an area printing company.
This event, which will combine stretching with suds, will be taking place at 3816 N 26th St B in Tacoma on December 9, starting at 10:00 am. Tickets that include the yoga portion only start at $20 each, while those for the yoga plus the after party start at $25. Additional details about the day can be found on the Just Add Yoga website.
