Tacoma company releases new giving app

A new app was recently launched by a company based in Tacoma and Charlotte, North Carolina, that will make it easier for people to support their favorite causes.

Good Done Great

, a company that operates on a hybrid for-profit/not-for-profit basis, released the app to make it simple for those who wish to make monthly contributions to more than two million organizations in the USA, Canada and the UK. It makes it possible for users to use their mobile device to browse through a database of charitable groups, choose the ones they wish to support, follow them and make donations. All sorts of marketing services can be used to help promote new apps such as this to the public to maximize the potential benefit for organizations that can use the help.

The app’s creators say that it is very similar to the company’s Good Done Great desktop version, but is portable, allowing users to check in wherever they might be. David Barach, who is the company’s CEO noted that:

“Many employees do not sit in front of a computer all day. We are excited to provide these employees with the same ability to make a positive impact as their colleagues.”

This latest app is just part of the enterprise’s recent surge in growth, including the acquisition of AmeriGives, which is a philanthropic company based out of Florida.
