Tacoma care facility offers new prescription service

A new prescription service is being launched by MultiCare Pharmacy Services, Phox Health and MultiCare Indigo Urgent Care based in Tacoma.

The new service will include the delivery of prescriptions every day of the week from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. There will be a fee of $10 and delivery will be available to residents of Pierce County from all Indigo locations in the county. Such new services often benefit from the use of flyer printing which can provide more details on costs and other features.

President of MultiCare Retail Health, Ryan Fix, said that this new service is designed to facilitate picking up a prescription after a visit to urgent care. Fix added that Indigo Urgent Care was designed to improve the care experience for its customers, and he believes this service is in keeping with its promise to continue to innovate and provide new services on the behalf of its customers.

Tacoma General, Auburn Medical Center, and Good Samaritan which have MultiCare Pharmacy locations now have a free prescription delivery by mail. Co-founder and CEO of Phox Health, Dr. Amit Gir, said that the partnership with MultiCare and their commitment to improving care for patients has enabled a first in the industry—the delivery of prescriptions on the same day, over a period of 14 hours, seven days a week.
