Storage center to be upgraded in Tacoma

InSite Property Group has purchased A Storage Center in the Parkland neighborhood of Tacoma.

InSite is a vertically integrated self-storage, management, development, and acquisition company. The property it has bought spans 66,773 square feet and offers interior heated and non-heated units, along with a drive-up. There are apartment buildings surrounding the property. The wholly-owned management firm of InSite will be operating the facility and will be known in the city as SecureSpace Parkland Tacoma.

The company is planning to undertake many renovations on the property. These will include an upgraded exterior and updated landscaping, new asphalt and paint, new signage, and enhanced security. Such companies often turn to banner printing to post at their sites to inform the community of improvements and updates.

In addition, the leasing office will be updated to be in the signature contemporary style of the company. There will be free Wi-Fi throughout the space. There will also be a contactless infrastructure for the security systems which will be of the latest technology.

Nathan McElmurry, head of Self-Storage Acquisition for InSite, said that SecureSpace Parkland Tacoma has a tremendous traffic count, with many families surrounding it, and is a classic retail-oriented storage facility. He said that the planned renovation will enable the place to be one of the best in the area, and expressed his excitement about expanding in Tacoma at a time of sustained growth.
