A grand opening celebration was recently held for Grocery Outlet Bargain Market, which opened a new store in East Tacoma.
The store is known for its large discounts on brand-name products. Grocery Outlet offers a range of products including meat, deli, and produce, as well as organic and natural options. Consumers can also purchase beer and wine, beauty and healthcare products, and seasonal items at the store. The company was founded and 1946 and is headquartered in Emeryville, California yet each store is independently owned and operated by people in the local community.
The new store in East Tacoma created 35 new jobs in the area and is run by Heidi Snyder and Ricardo Santiago.
The grand opening ceremony itself was unique. Nourish Food Bank was the beneficiary of an amount equal to the savings of customer purchases made within the first hour of operation. BlissBucks gift cards from the Grocery Outlet in amounts from $5 to $200 were given to the first 200 customers. Between now and the end of this month, customers can enter a raffle to win free groceries for one year. Banner printing can be used to promote such events and opportunities.
The winner of the grand prize of free groceries for one year will be announced at the end of the day tomorrow, April 25.
