Tacoma will be the first stop in 2019 for Michelle Obama’s book tour.
The former First Lady’s book, ‘Becoming’, is about her experiences in life, both private and public, from her life growing up on the South Side of Chicago, to her time as an executive requiring her to balance the demands of work and motherhood, and including her eight year spell in the White House with husband and former President, Barack.
The tour will enable Obama to offer more personal information and each stop will include a moderator to converse with her about her book and experiences. Poster printing can be used for such tours to provide more information about location of such tours, including ticket prices and availability.
In the weeks since her book was released, it has sold over three million Copies and is an Oprah’s Book Club Selection for 2018.
Obama will be at the Tacoma Dome on February 8 beginning at 8:00 pm Her tour for 2019 includes appearances in Portland, Oregon; Houston and Austin, Texas; Vancouver, British Columbia, Edmonton, Alberta and Montreal, Quebec; as well as European stops in Copenhagen, Amsterdam, London, and Paris. Her book tour ends at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee on May 12.
Various organizations, such as community groups, schools, and charities, will receive free admission to the respective stop of the tour in their city.
