Major truck terminal in Tacoma undergoes new ownership

A 29-truck terminal on Lincoln Avenue in Tacoma has been purchased by Realterm, an independent investment management company known around the world and focused on the transportation industry. This is the ninth high flow through industrial property that the company has purchased in the greater Tacoma and Seattle area.

Banner printing is often used at such sites to inform residents and businesses of such acquisitions.

The property has 1,100 square feet of office space and a warehouse that spans 8,600 square feet which is on 2.5 acres of land that is secure, lit, and fully paved. The 29 door docks of the truck terminal have a loading ramp at grade level with additional space for parking of trailers so that it is ideal for logistics users.

It is also in the Heavy Haul Industrial Corridor of the Port of Tacoma. This allows vehicles weighing up to 98,000 pounds and provides immediate access to the shipping terminals of the port. It is also close to SR 167 and Interstate 5 providing access to the Port of Seattle, the Kent Valley, and downtown Seattle.

Senior Fund Manager and Managing Director at Realterm, Stephen Panos, said the property is a great addition to the portfolio of the company given its prime location, strategic position, and efficient layout in one of the most robust industrial real estate markets in the country.
