Nancy and Ann Wilson, members of the rock band Heart are reuniting for a tour over the summer and will be coming to Tacoma.
The tour will start in St. Louis on July 9 and end in Hollywood, California exactly two months later. In addition to Tacoma, among the other stops on the tour are Chicago, Detroit, Tampa, and Dallas, among others.
There will be several special guests joining the tour, including Joan Jett And The Blackhearts, another rock band, Elie King and Sheryl Crowe. There will also be special appearances by Lucie Silvas and Brandi Carlile.
The sisters had taken a temporary break in 2016. Nancy, a guitarist, joined another band to write songs and create a new album. Singer Ann added that it was good just to travel, breathe, and stretch their wings so now they have a new energy for this tour.
Heart became well-known in the mid-1970s, fell in popularity in the early 1980s and then became superstars in 1985. Heavy metal, hard rock, and even folk music influences the type of music they play. Over 35 million of their albums have been sold around the world, with 22.5 million sales in the United States.
Heart will be at the Tacoma Dome on September 4. Promotional Products are often sold at such concerts to their fans.
