The Ballard Jazz Festival is taking place in Seattle for four days, kicking off in just over a week’s time.
The festival is set to feature several concerts and events that will feature some of the area's best musicians. Among the artists slated to perform at this year's event are Gail Pettis and Brotherhood of the Drum.
The Guitar Summit, meanwhile, will feature the music of Peter Bernstein, John Stowell, and Jerry Hahn. Set to take place at the Conor Byrne Pub, the show is restricted to those aged 21 and over.
The Ballard Jazz Walk will take place during the Friday night of the festival, and eight venues will be providing entertainment from 17 groups. Also, the Swedish Pancake Jazz Brunch is taking place at the Nordic Heritage Museum on the last day, during which guests will be entertained by the Thomas Marriott Quartet. It is also set to feature a classic Volvo and Saab car show.
This event should appeal to plenty of jazz and music fans in Seattle. Local poster printing companies might be asked to provide materials to be used in advertising.
The Ballard Jazz Festival will take place in Seattle from May 6 to 9. Tickets for the brunch on May 9 are $12 each in advance and $15 at the door. The Ballard Jazz Walk and Friday night concert tickets cost $30 each. To learn more, call 206-219-3649.
