Seattle collectors prepare for annual rare book and paper event

Seattle's collectors and book lovers will get the chance to come together for an antiquarian book fair at Seattle Center this October.

The Seattle Antiquarian Book Fair attracts sellers from throughout North America and beyond to the city each year. They offer thousands of collectible Books, prints, maps, autographs, photographs, Postcards, ephemera, manuscripts, broadsides and fine bindings for purchase.

Visitors can browse the exhibitors' booths throughout the weekend. The event gives collectors an opportunity to find unique items and connect with fellow enthusiasts. The Book Club of Washington will sponsor a guided tour of the fair at 1 pm on both days, led by Portland-based bookseller Scott Brown. Registration takes place at the club's booth. Those who wish to sell books or related items to an exhibiting dealer can meet with them outside the exhibition area or in the ticket registration area.

For dealers and exhibitors at paper-focused fairs in Seattle, poster printing can be a practical way to share information about their booths.

This year's fair takes place Saturday, October 24, and Sunday, October 25, 2026, at Exhibition Hall, Seattle Center, 301 Mercer Street, Seattle, Washington 98109. Exhibition Hall is located on the north side of the Seattle Center grounds, between 3rd and 4th Avenues North, next to McCaw Hall. A parking garage with space for 1,200 vehicles is located across the street.
