Sinamay is a fiber produced from banana plants, and a Seattle session will introduce this textile and how it can be used.
Bellard Millinery Studio will be taking a page from spring when it offers the opportunity to craft a tulip using sinamay, and the registration and materials fee starts at $185.00 each.
The class will introduce tips for working with sinamay, making it a good opportunity for those who are new to working with it to get their feet wet. The activity will run for eight hours, and everyone will find out how to craft a tulip flower along with leaves. These may be used as decor for hats or other clothing, and they also be proudly displayed on their own. The course fee covers all of the materials and instruction, and the participants will be able to ask any questions they have.
Learning a new crating technique may be a lot of fun, especially when it's done as part of a group. A class or workshop offers this opportunity, and a flyer printing company will be pleased to help spread the word to as many as possible.
