Winterfest returns for another holiday season
Winterfest is taking place in Seattle for five weeks, beginning just after Thanksgiving.
The Seattle Center will be transformed into a winter wonderland for the holidays. There will be a variety of paid and free activities that are sure to please the entire family. There is an ice rink (with a charge), the winter train and village (which comes with a suggested donation), and ice sculpting every Saturday. The Center Ice Spectacle will take place for a full day on December 17 from 12:00 to 6:00 PM, and sculptors from all over will be showcasing their skills.
There are also set to be student showcases, puppet shows, magicians, and music from Runt, Bailadores de Bronce, and Sway, among others. Among the other entertainers who are scheduled to appear this year are the Zaniac Comedy Show and the Keith Highlanders Pipe Band. Other activities include a Fountain of Light Dance Party, the Fire and Ice Show, Happy Hour, and a student art exhibit.
This event is sure to attract families from all over the Seattle area. To advertise, local stationery printing companies are often asked to provide products such as flyers and brochures.
Winterfest will be held at the Seattle Center from November 24 to January 1. Admission is free of charge. For the most up-to-date information, visit the official event website.
