The Big Taste celebrates all new Washington flavors

A brand new fundraising festival in Seattle is celebrating just that: everything new, from wine, to beers, to ciders, to spirits.

Called The Big Taste, visitors will get to taste the latest offerings from local businesses, and be on the cutting edge of what is available from 16 wineries, cideries, six distilleries and several breweries.

Besides beverages, there will be food available to purchase from Mobile Mavens food trucks and live music to keep everyone entertained.

Ticket prices are $35 in advance and $45 at the door. The event is a fundraiser for the University Sunrise Rotary and Outdoors For All.

The University Sunrise Rotary Club is a group of about 50 people who initiate community activities once a month to strengthen community ties and make a positive impact. The group has helped the residents of north Seattle and communities around the world for more than 30 years.

Outdoors For All's mission is use outdoor activities to help and enhance the lives of children and adults with disabilities. It began in Seattle in 1979 and now helps up to 3,000 people with 850 volunteers. Events such as this one can use local Print shops for Menus, signage, and sponsor Banners.

The Big Taste is scheduled to take place Friday August 7, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the historic Sandpoint Naval Air Station, Magnuson Park Hangar 30, 6310 Northeast 74th Street in Seattle.
