The 11th annual Honk! Fest West is taking place in Seattle for three days next month.
The festival celebrates percussion, brass and street band culture and it will take place in different three areas of the city, one each day. It will be held in Georgetown on June 1 from 5:00 to 10:00 PM, at White Center on June 2 from 1:00 to 6:00 PM and on June 3 at Columbia City from 2:00 to 6:00 PM.
This year’s festival is set to feature over 30 bands from all over the United States. Some of the local Seattle bands that will be performing are the 8-Bit Brass Band, One Love, the Garfield High School Band, the Rise Up! Action Band, and the Ten Man Brass Band. Most of the performances will be on the street rather than on stage.
Sponsorships are available for $500 up to $5,000. Organizers are also still accepting volunteers to help with various aspects of the festival.
To advertise, organizers may have contacted a local printing services company to provide them with printed materials such as Brochures and Flyers, which can easily be distributed in the community.
Honk! Fest West will be held in Seattle from June 1 to 3. Admission is free of charge and for all ages. For the most current information about this event, visit the official website.
