Star Trek Exhibit continues until February
The exhibit ‘Star Trek: Exploring New World’ is showing at MoPop until the end of February.
The exhibition celebrates the 50th anniversary of ‘Star Trek’, the TV show that was created by Gene Roddenberry and has had many incarnations. It helps to show the impact that the franchise has had on popular culture and even science. It has inspired fashion, architecture, and literature.
The exhibit features 100 artifacts and props from five Star Trek series’. This includes Captain Kirk’s chair, the navigation console, and original costumes worn on the show. There is also a recreation of the Enterprise’s bridge and a six-foot U.S.S. Enterprise filming model that was used on ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’. In addition, there will be related Star Trek merchandise available for sale in the gift shop.
Fans from all over Seattle are sure to not want to miss this exhibit. No doubt marketing materials such as flyers and posters have been displayed in the city.

Admission to the exhibit is $30 for adults, $27 for seniors, $24 for military personnel, and $21 for children between the ages of 5 and 17.
