Seattle will ring in the New Year in style at the Pacific Science Center with a special event for both members and non-members.
The party will have entertainment, a DJ, and a view of the fireworks. The DJs will be going the entire duration of the party, and there will be a champagne toast at midnight. Many of the exhibits will be open after-hours for the guests viewing pleasure.
There are two levels of tickets for this event: general admission includes all the basics: the first drink, the champagne toast, and laser shows. There will be multiple cash bars. The VIP Experience tickets upgrades the bars to open bars and VIP lines. The VIP entrance gives away party favors, and appetizers will be served. VIPs also get an exclusive viewing area from the courtyard. The general tickets are $125, or $115 for members. VIP tickets are $250, or $240 for members.
There are two entrances to the Pacific Science Center: North and South. The South entrance is primarily open during the daytime, while the North entrance is open in the evening as well. The Claypool parking garage is on the corner of Denny Way and 2nd Avenue North. It is a paid parking structure, but parking after 4 pm is $7.
