Seattles Celtic culture celebrated in March weekend

The Irish Week Festival is coming to Seattle for a couple of days next month, presented by the Irish Heritage Club of Seattle.

The event will feature plenty of activities that should appeal to a variety of people. There are set to be Celtic arts and crafts activities to take part in, Celtic cultural displays, performances from Irish musicians from the Pacific Northwest, Irish step dancing, and the screening of short films from the nation. There will be visual arts exhibits, games, guest appearances by Irish celebrities, and demonstrations. Visitors can also take part in a genealogy workshop or learn the Irish language.

Vendors are also expected to be on hand to sell a variety of Irish and Celtic related merchandise. This will most likely include popular items like jewelry, clothing, accessories, and home decor.

There will also be plenty to do in the Children's Activities Center during both days, including the chance to enter the ‘Smilingest Irish Eyes’ and the ‘Most Irish-Looking Face’ contests.

Seattle Stationery printers may be approached by some of the vendors who may wish to hand out Business Cards or promotional Brochures when people purchase items.

The Irish Week Festival is being held at the Seattle Center Armory on March 14 and 15. Admission is free. To find out more information about this event, call 206-427-3027.
