Ice cream can be the perfect treat for a hot summer day in Seattle, and a festival is on the way for the city that will celebrate this popular frozen fare.
The Scooped! Ice Cream Festival will be treating the city to treats provided by more than 75 ice cream makers, and local, regional, and national-level brands will all be on offer. It is a function geared towards all ages, and everyone aged three and up will need to have a ticket.
The two-day celebration will be a high-energy occasion, and along with a chance to sample the frozen treats and meet representatives of the companies that make them, there will be other food options for attendees to enjoy as well. Performers of live music and other entertainment will also be in attendance, and top-level mixologists will be preparing drinks for the adults in the crowd. A selection of giant, yard-style games will round out the festivities.
