The 33rd annual West Seattle Summer Fest is being held for three days this July.
Seeking to appeal to a wide audience, there will be music from artists such as The Thermals, The Cave Singers, VOX MOD, and the Sisters, while DJ Lance Romance will be spinning some tunes as well. There are set to be beer gardens and a community gathering tents for attendees to hang out in between stage performance. The YMCA Kids' Area will have carnival rides, face painting, and art activities.
Green Life, a garden and sustainability expo will have demonstrations of canning and preservation, city herb and medicinal gardens, and solar energy. Illuminatio Dance will entertain and visitors can learn about backyard beer making. Vendors will also be on hand to sell gardening tools, arts and crafts, and general merchandise. Pet Junction will have displays from rescue organizations, pet artists, and lots of pet-related items for sale.
