Seattle pop-up sale to offer edible plants

Choosing to incorporate edible plants into a landscape design offers multiple benefits, and a Seattle event will help to add them to area gardens.

Those who would like to get started at growing their own fruits and veggies will find that the plant sale being hosted at Rainier Beach Urban Farm and Wetlands has plenty to offer them. It will give them an opportunity to purchase plant starts that have been grown using organic and sustainable methods, and there will be a wide variety of cultivars on offer.

The organizers of the fundraiser explained that the varieties on sale have been specially selected because they grow well under local conditions. Herbs, fruits, vegetables and other types will all be included, and the function will take place in person. Reservations must be made in advance, and face masks are required.

Events of this type often depend upon the generosity of volunteers for success, and a printing services company will be able to provide a variety of custom-designed items to thank them for their support. These can range from T-Shirts to coffee Mugs, all of which can be printed with a function’s Logo Design.

Tilth Alliance’s May Edible Plant Sale will be helping Seattle to become more sustainable from May 7 until 14. More details about the fundraiser are available on the organization’s website.
