Seattle gardener program launches spring appeal

A program that helps everyone discover the joys of home horticulture has put out an appeal to Seattle and the surrounding communities seeking financial support.

The Master Gardener Foundation King County recently announced that it has begun its Spring Appeal for 2024. It has asked both individuals and businesses to support its work, drawing attention to the numerous ways this will benefit the local area.

The Master Gardener Spring Appeal will provide a way for its sponsors to give back, and they will be supporting the organization’s demonstration gardens, as well as its plant clinic, workshops, technology acquisition, and outreach programming. There are several giving levels on offer. Those who make a contribution will be acknowledged in a variety of ways, or, if they prefer, they can choose to keep their contribution anonymous.

Most not-for-profit groups depend upon the generosity of the public to help fund their work. Many thank their corporate and small business donors by including their Logo Design or other branding in their marketing materials, hoping that they will continue to support them in the future.

This group of master gardeners from Seattle and the rest of King’s County will be running its appeal throughout the spring. More details about how these will be used, and also a link to make a contribution, can be found on the group’s website.
