What's Happening in Seattle, WA…

Seattle foodies crave another restaurant week

Seattle is about to become a veritable smorgasborg of great food of all types and flavors at the upcoming Seattle Restaurant Week.

More than 165 restaurants will be participating in the foodie festival, offering three-course dinners for $35 and two course lunches for $20. Restaurants are required that they offer the food items regularly priced at a total of $42 or more, meaning diners are getting favorable deals.

Lunches consist of an appetizer-main or main-dessert combination, and dinners are an appetizer-main-desert combination, although restaurants may vary their offerings.

Reservations are not required but organizers say it may be a good idea to call ahead or book a table through Open Table to ensure a spot and confirm a particular restaurant is participating on the evening.

Since 2017, Seattle Restaurant Week has been teaming up with Dine Around Seattle to showcase a huge offering of selections for diners. Before 2017, the two organizations each held their own festivals, which meant there were two in the spring and two in the fall. Now, there are just two per year.

Restaurants participating in events such as these can use local printing services to create professional, branded one-off menus that details their particular dishes.

Seattle Restaurant week runs from Sunday, March 29 to Sunday, April 9, from Sundays to Thursdays, as Fridays and Saturdays are not included. Sunday brunches are also excluded.
