Thanks to the efforts of a team of dedicated volunteers, a popular Seattle summer celebration will soon be returning to the city, and everyone is invited to be part of the festivities.
Since it first started in 1952, the Magnolia Summerfest and Seafair Parade has proved to be a consistently popular event. It will get off to an exciting start with an opening night party for all ages, and the fun will then continue on for the rest of the weekend.
The opening night party on the first night of the festival will feature a movie screening, live music, and bounce houses. The next day will offer a kids’ parade as well as other festivities, and the Sunday will include a talent show, food, a local band showcase and a craft showcase. The festival will be taking place at Magnolia Playfield.
