Seattle continues annual Turkish celebration

Turkfest will be held again in Seattle this year, continuing its tradition of cultural enrichment and education. The festival will feature music, food, and a bustling marketplace.

One highlight of this event is the culture, which is shown off through music, dancing, performing, and art. Those performing or showcasing come from not only across the United States, but also Turkey, allowing visitors a chance to appreciate the country’s culture.

Although no list of vendors is currently available, it is like that there will be a variety of options available at the market. There will likely be vendors selling food and drinks, as well as house wares and potentially clothing.

This festival is presented with the partnership of the Turkish American Cultural Association of Washington (or TACAWA). It is possible that the event coordinators will use printing services to have Flyers or other informational printed materials available.

TurkFest will be held at the Seattle Center. There are multiple public garages in the area for parking, with the average parking rate being $15 for up to 12 hours. There may also be other parking areas available in the area, but attendees should check.

This festival will be free and open to the public, and will last for two days. On Saturday and Sunday, October 19 and 20, the opening times will be from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
