Seattle area summer celebration to offer fun-filled weekend
For three days this summer, a Seattle area event will bring some extra fun to the city, and everyone is welcome to join in the festivities.
Dubbed “Summerfest,” the celebration will be filled with outdoor fun. The organizers have been building a schedule for the function, and the plans include everything from an outdoor movie screening to a pet fashion and costume contest.
As well as vendor booths, the festival will offer a parade as well as crafts and free activities for the kids. Food trucks will be rolling in, and a beer and wine tent will supply the adults in the crowd with a chance to socialize while they wet their whistle. Live music will be playing throughout the weekend, for the enjoyment of all, and many local businesses have chosen to sponsor the celebration.
In the online description prepared for the event, the planners have put out a call for volunteers, as their help is needed to make the function a success. Print shops will be able to supply T-shirts and other clothing for those who lend a hand with a community celebration, and these can be printed with its logo design.
