Rusty Con 33 is taking place next month in Seattle for three days. The popular science fiction and fantasy convention attracts fans from all over.
The convention has a range of activities and events planned that are sure to please the fans. There will be an art show for fans, a gaming room, and panel discussions. Artists Alley is set to feature art from both amateur and professional artists. Tables are $20 per day or $50 for all three days. For those who are more than fans and want to foster a writing career in the genres, there will be a writing workshop for which participants need to submit their works in advance.
As with other conventions, there will be special guests. This year's are author Steven Barnes, fan Gene Armstrong, and Julie Zetterberg, who creates many of the costumes that fans wear.
A big part of the event will no doubt be the marketplace. Guests will be able to buy items such as jewelry, clothing, games, and Books. They can also get information about various fan organizations.
Seattle brochure printing companies are often asked to provide programs for events such as this.
Rusty Con 33 will be held at the Hilton Seattle Airport and Convention Center from January 15 to 17. Passes are $45 in advance and $55 at the door. Visit the event website for more information.
